A field hospital was opened in Telavi

By the initiative of the Ministry of Defence of Georgia, a field hospital was opened in Telavi to help the disaster-affected population. The injured people are getting medical aid there from the medical staff of the military hospital of the Ministry of Defence of Georgia. 

The reservists and the engineering battalion servicemen of the Georgian armed forces are participating in the disaster consequences elimination works, the needed equipments have been mobilized.  

Their work is headed by the Minister of Defence Dimitri Shashkin. The Defence Ministry of Georgia will stay in Kakheti region till the completion of the liquidation works.
