The state Minister for
European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Tornike Gordadze went to Brussels with an official
visit.
According to the
information of the Vice-Premier apparatus, within the visit meetings with NATO
Deputy Secretary General Alexander Varshbow and the special representative of
NATO Secretary General for Caucasus and the
Central Asia James Appathuria are planed.
Also meetings with Deputy
Secretary General of the European External Actions Service, Helga Schmid, the
Executive Director of the Europe and Central Asia, Gunnar Wiegand and also,
with the members of European Council President office and the office of High
Representative Catherine Ashton.
At the meetings the sides
will discuss Georgia’s
membership in NATO and the EU integration process dynamics.
