Vano Merabishvili: all those, involved in the torture of inmates, are either already imprisoned, or wanted

On the meeting of the government held in Khashuri today, Prime-Minister Vano Merabishvili responded to the facts of torture of prisoners occurred in corrections institution. 

According to the statement of Merabishvili, all the persons participating in the torture of the inmates are either arrested, or wanted.  “The committed offence is outrageous. All those who are involved in this case, are already imprisoned, or wanted. They will face condemnation.

As we prevented facts of torture in police, we will do the same in Penitentiary System too. Any facts of torture and degrading acts should be excluded”, - Merabishvili said.
