Georgian Catholicos-Patriarch Ilia II responded to the facts of torture of prisoners. 
As His Holiness noted in a special statement, terrible footage was spread by media.  
“We condemn this act and call on the society to create proper commission, which will investigate such facts and will protect the inmates’ rights, we are worried that such incidents are happening in Georgia”, - Ilia II said.
