NGOs must nominate a candidate for the vacant position of Ombudsman. 
Internal consultations among the few organizations will be renewed today. The five non-profit organizations will choose between the head of the Young Lawyers Association Tamar Chugoshvili and Tamar Gurchiani. 
In total, 5 candidates were nominated for the ombudsman’s vacancy. The list includes Gela Nikolaishvili, Lia Mukhashavria and the Deputy Dimitri Lortkipanidze, who is supported by inmates’ parents.
