Georgian president expresses grief to the family of the soldier killed in Afghanistan

Georgian president extends his condolences over the death of Corporal Mindia Abashidze fallen while fulfilling military task.

"Mikheil Saakashvili expresses grief and extends his sincerest condolences to the family members, friends and comrades of the deceased", - is said in the statement released on the official web-page of the president.

Mindia Abashidze was Commander of Fire Group of 32 Light Infantry Battalion of III Infantry Brigade of Land Forces. Corporal has been participating in the NATO mission since 2010-2011.
