According to the statement of the acting Internal Affairs Minister Eka Zghuladze, during the meeting with the candidate for the Minister Irakli Gharibashvili, they agreed that the Internal Affairs Ministry will maintain its commitments till the end.

As Zghuladze explained to reporters, due to structural hierarchy, she has not met Gharibashvili in the Ministry.

“We have a very fruitful meeting. We have discussed the structure, the budget, those problems that need to be fixed and all these in details. The new Minister has his own vision; however what is the most important, we agree on a role, that the Ministry has in our state. According to the statement of Mr. Garibashvili, the Ministry will continue protecting social order and security of citizens in the future too. It was very nice to hear this opinion”, - Zghuladze said.
