Training for Psychiatric Service Staff was conducted

Training was conducted for the newly-created psychiatric service staff, in the framework of the penitentiary healthcare reform.

Deputy Minister of Corrections and Legal Assistance of Georgia (MCLA)– Mr. Giorgi Arsoshvili Attended the study process.

Medical Department of the MCLA has hired additional specialists for proper functioning of the psychiatric service within penitentiary system.

In the framework of the MCLA’s 10 main priorities for 2012, penitentiary healthcare reform is of particular importance.
