On the jury trial, lawyer of the accused was fined for rude behavior

Teimuraz Magrakvelidze, the lawyer of David Rusishvili convicted for premeditated murder in aggravating circumstances, was fined with 200 GEL by judge for rude behavior.


Rusashvili’s lawyers are especially active today. Ruashvili’s defender Nikolaishvili addressed the judge to prohibit media-coverage of the trial to journalists, thereby, he, in fact, asked limiting the freedom of speech. Later, Maglakelidze violated regulation and for that he the penalty provided by the law was imposed to him.
