President pardoned 168 prisoners

Georgian president pardoned 168 prisoners on the Mariamoba holiday. It was reported by the Minister of Legal Assistance and Correction of Georgia, Khatuna Kalmakhelidze, on a special briefing held today.  

According to the statement of the Minister, the inmates will leave the prisons already today.    

“The process of releasing the prisoners will be completed till the end of the day. 

Accordingly, the pardoned inmates will celebrate Mariamoba holiday together with their families”, - Kalmakhelidze said.
