According to the governor of the village Laphankhuri, Boris Parkinashvili, the population is not in danger, despite undergoing persecution operation.  
He said, there is no panic in the village and there is no reason for that either. 
“The persecution operation is underway, the lost boys were released, I met them personally and they will return to their families in a few hours. There is no panic in the village and there is no reason for it either”, - Parkinashvili said. 
We will recall you that Near the Georgian-Russian state border, at the Dagestan section the armed group was detected. Currently the Ministry of Internal Affairs is conducting the persecution of the mentioned group. The gorge is blocked by the units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. 
In order to ensure safety of the Georgian citizens the Ministry has taken all necessary measures.
