In Dagestan, Tsuntini region neighboring to Georgia, in the village Shaitli, where clashes between militants and law enforcers took place, the police destroyed two shelters belonging to illegal armed groups – Russian media reports.

Anti-terrorist operation at Georgian-Russian state border is still in progress
At the Dagestan section, near the Georgian-Russian state border, anti-terrorist operation against the armed group is in progress already for the third day. While conducting persecution operation against the armed subversive group, three officers of the MIA Special Force Unit were killed and five officers were wounded. Eleven members of the armed subversive group were liquidated and the operation of persecution is currently underway to detain six members of the armed group.
