Political scientist Soso Tsintsadze says that Russia’s invasion to Georgian territories in not likely to occur. As Tsintsadze said to “internet.ge” while commenting prosecution operation undergoing near the Georgia-Russian state border, Russia only plays a nerve-racking game with these events. “It is not possible Russia to use armed groups discovered on the territory of Georgia, at Dagestan part, as an excuse for invasion. As it will be a bogus reason. I am more worried about elections, can it be a notification sent from another country in advance before pre-election events?”, - Soso Tsintsadze said. According to the information of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia, near the Georgian-Russian state border, at the Dagestan section the armed group was detected.
