Dmitry Medvedev believes that the state should take “offensive position” in terms of spreading and promoting Russian language.   Russian Prime-Minister made statement regarding this during a meeting. 

In his opinion, towards Russian language a growing interest is observed in the world and it is the language of communication between nations. 

Medvedev said it is important to work actively in this direction with the Russian Diasporas abroad.
