Foreign Affairs Ministers of 5 countries called on the opposition to recognize the election results

Foreign Affairs Ministers of Rumania, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Latvia and Lithuania are visiting Georgia. They call on subjects participating in the parliamentary elections to recognize the results confirmed by the international observers.  

The mentioned statement was made by the Ministers of 5 countries after the meeting with Foreign Minister of Georgia Grigol Vashadze.

They said, progress of Georgia is promising that elections will be held democratically.

“These countries are interested with processes undergoing in Georgia, they are interested in Georgia like we are interested in NATO and EU”, - Georgian Foreign Minister said.

According to the statement of the Latvia Foreign Minister, Georgia will definitely become NATO and EU member.

Reporters asked foreign diplomats their opinion regarding trainings planned on occupied territories of Georgia too. The Foreign Ministers said responsibility for possible escalation of situation in the region will be imposed on Russia.
