Azerbaijan advises its citizens to refrain from visiting occupied territories of Georgia

Foreign Affairs Ministry of Azerbaijan calls on its citizens to refrain from visiting occupied territories of Georgia – Abkhazia and Tskhinvali region – without permissions of appropriate authorities.

The Ministry explained that, according to the Georgian law, such a visits are illegal and correspondingly, punishable. Therefore, it spreads appropriate warning for Azerbaijan citizens. 

“According to the Georgian law, such visits are illegal. Due to this, we declared for attention of Azerbaijan citizens, that those, planning to visit Georgia, should take into account above-mentioned factors” – is said in the statement of the Ministry.
