“I am so surprised, why Armenians do not return to their homeland”, - the author of the mentioned scandalous phrase is the Prime-Minister candidate of the parliamentary elections winner team.

The leader of the “Georgian dream” gave an interview to the “New times” reporter, Yevgenia Albats.

Ivanishvili expresses surprise that Armenians, who have their motherland nearby, still live here.

“I cannot understand. I lived in France, for a year in America, and I started dreaming about my village, my land…  We, Georgians, are strange people - we are tied to the land. This is our character”, -Ivanishvili states.

The head of the Armenian Parliament Standing Committee on Foreign Relations, Artak Zakaryan has already assessed this interview of the coalition leader.
“If such a thing was really uttered, then at least it causes uncertainty”, - the Armenian MP noted and added that if it was a mistake by a leader of a political power, it should be fixed.
