Czech Senate chairman, Milan Štěch, expresses a doubt that the issue of Georgia's NATO membership will not be resolved at the Chicago summit.

Milan Štěch met with Georgian Parliament Speaker, David Bakradze, after what a joint briefing was held.

As Štěch said to Georgian journalists, the Bucharest Summit was important for Georgia, as a certain position regarding the country, that it should become a NATO member state, was set there.

“I doubt that it will not be resolved quickly at Chicago summit, I mean, Georgia will not become member of NATO suddenly. However, it will be an expression of a support, that Georgia should become a member of NATO”, - he added.

In addition, Štěch drew his attention to the deepening economic relations between the two countries.
