Czech Senate chairman, Milan Štěch,
expresses a doubt that the issue of Georgia's
NATO membership will not be resolved at the Chicago summit.
Milan Štěch
met with Georgian Parliament Speaker, David Bakradze, after what a joint
briefing was held.
As Štěch said to Georgian journalists, the Bucharest Summit was
important for Georgia,
as a certain position regarding the country, that it should become a NATO
member state, was set there.
“I doubt that it will not be resolved quickly at Chicago summit, I
mean, Georgia will not become member of NATO suddenly. However, it will be an
expression of a support, that Georgia
should become a member of NATO”, - he added.
In addition, Štěch drew his attention to the deepening economic relations
between the two countries.
