Observing mission’s report on Russian presidential elections has been considered at the European Parliamentary session.

“Internet.ge” was informed about it by press-service of “National movement”.

According to their information, it was clearly marked there that by opening polling stations in South Ossetia and Abkhazia, Russia violated international norms.

Moreover, it was written in the report, that making such a decision without consent of Georgian authorities violates Georgia’s territorial integrity, as it is recognized by the international cooperation and the European Parliamentary Assembly.

In addition, it is said in the report, that inhabitants of these regions have Russian passports, which is a political result of Russian government’s, so-called, Passportization. This action was criticized in Tagliavini’s report.

Russian government’s, so-called, passportization policy has been evaluated by the European Council Assembly as a violation of international law in a number of resolutions.

The Observing mission’s report on Russian presidential election has been approved by the Bureau, before the consideration on the session. Debates on this issue were also held, where the member of Georgian delegation, Giorgi Kandelaki delivered a speech.
