Kutelia: development of reserve concept was due to events of 2008

According to the assessment of the Deputy Secretary of the National Security Council, Batu Kutelia, development of the reserve concept is due to the new reality, which has been creating from 2008. 

As Kutelia said to journalists, development of a reserve concept has a very important role for insurance of state security and defense.

According to him, there are many countries that are NATO members and lives in much safer environment and even they think about creating reserve concept.

“In addition to the direct practical importance, the reserve system promotes closer relations connections of the civil society and the armed forces, as the society should understand all the dangers and challenges that the country is facing”, - he said.
