Opposition is boycotting against the solemn meeting of the parliament on May 26

Parliamentary opposition will not attend the solemn session of Kutaisi Parliament scheduled on May 26.  

As the representative of “Christian-democrats”, Giorgi Akhvlediani said to journalists, the “National movement” and President Mikheil Saakashvili planned to conduct a session for their PR on May 26, which will not be attended by members of his fraction.

“I will not become a part of their PR action”, - he added.

Like “Christian-democrats”, the meeting will not be attended by members of the fraction “Unity for justice”.

According to the statement of the fraction chairman, Dimitri Lortkipanidze, the parliament is located in Tbilisi so far; therefore, they are not going to participate in parliament session, which is to be held in Kutaisi.
