On the meeting of “Great Eight” in U.S. the Russian side will be represented not by the President, but the Prime-Minister.

Officially appointed Russian President informed the U.S. colleague about it himself three days ago.

Putin said, he needs to concentrate on forming the government and therefore, he will not be able to travel to the United States.

According to BBC, in conversation with Obama, Russian commander personally expressed his concern regarding his absence on the summit. The White house press-service reported this information.

The G8 meeting is scheduled on May 18-19 in Camp David.
