10:13 27.03.2012
Day News

The European Union believes that the presidential elections in “South Ossetia” are illegitimate, - said Catherine Ashton, the EU high representative of Foreign Affaires and Security Policy. “The EU does not recognize those constitutional and legal frameworks in which these elections took place” – is said in the press-release.

As it is known, the United States also made the statement about the nullification of the so-called, elections held on the occupied territories. The statement emphasized once more the support towards Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity; also it called on Moscow to withdraw military units from the Georgian territories.
