Saakashvili: in terms of reforms implemented for State service improvement, Georgia leads the world

Georgian President’s working visit to the United States started today. The leader of the country, who is in New York now, spoke about the importance of this visit.

The first comment of Mikheil Saakashvili was made regarding the award, which was granted by UN to Georgia for successful reforms carried out in the service sector. The most prestigious annual prize “State Service Award” was won by Georgia with a project “House of Justice”.      

Georgia President noted that in terms of reforms implemented for State service improvement, Georgia leads the world. 

“The UN has granted Georgia its annual, the world’s most prestigious award, which the country deserved with its project “House of Justice” and reforms implemented in terms of the electronic bidding system. It is, indeed, the best system and as for the Houses of Justice, we are in the first place throughout the world and we are glad that the international community has also seen it”, - Georgian president stated.
