Chicago is preparing for NATO summit

The 25th NATO summit will be opened tomorrow in Chicago. In the summit Georgia will participate as an aspirant country.

The first topic to be discussed on the summit is installation of anti-missile system.

According to the statement of Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili, although the Chicago summit is not about NATO enlargement it has particular importance for Georgia.  

As the first person of the country noted, Georgia will take part in all the meetings of all formats scheduled in the frameworks of this summit. According to his statement, the position of the Alliance has a particular importance for Georgia, as it is one of the most important guarantees for the State security.
