The Constitutional amendments are connected to status of Lazika. Namely, Lazika will be given special status.

The ruling party says, many innovations will be presented there in terms of self-government and taxes.

We will recall you that the author of Constitutional amendments is Mikheil Saakashvili. A month ago, parliament approved collective of the Constitutional amendments commission for giving a special status to Lazika and the members of it are representatives of parliamentary majority and opposition, as well as the constitutionalists.
