Ahmet Yimaya: it is honor for Turkey to go with the flow of time along with Georgia
On the meeting with Georgian Parliament
Speaker, David Bakradze, Turkish Deptuy spoke about relations between the two
countries in terms of culture, economy and history.
After the meeting the Turkish Parliament Justice
Commission head, Ahmet Yimaya said to journalists that Georgia-Turkish
relations is based on mutual confidence and respect and that is important as
fot Turkey as well as, for Georgia.
He said if one day the world was re-created
and the God asked Turkey which
country it would like to have in neighbors, Turkey’s
choice would be Georgia.
“The sun rises from the East and sets in the
West. It was so today too – it rised from the east and will set down in the
west. The river of the time passes very fast and it is honor for Turkey to go with this flow of time along with Georgia”, - He
said.
In the frameworks of the visit to Georgia,
Turkish Parliament Committees’ chairmen will meet with Prime-Minister Nika
Gilauri. In addition, Turkish Parliamentary delegation will visit the service
agency of the Internal Affairs Ministry of Georgia. The Deputies will visit Kutaisi and Batumi
too.
