Along with Tskhinvali puppet regime, Sokhumi also objects Hillary Clinton’s statements made during her visit in Georgia.

The so-called, Foreign Ministry spread a statement, where it is said, that talks about “Russian occupation” is insulting for the Abkhazian people and it damages image of Abkhazian community in the United States.   

Sokhumi, as well as, Tskhinvali stress Hillary Clinton’s “mistakes”, namely:

“We consider Clinton’s decision regarding Georgian, so-called, neutral passports, as mistake”, - is said in the statement and the concern is expressed that with this step “the U.S. risks to collectively punish Abkhazian people”.  

The so-called Foreign Ministry calls on the U.S. to adopt document of Abkhazian citizen in its consulates with an aim of de-isolation of Abkhazia and protection of rights of Abkhazian citizens”. 

“Continuation of Abkhazia’s isolation policy, on the background of Georgian militarism and revengism, is the worst step that the United States could do for stabilization of situation and resolution of conflict in the region. We call on the U.S. to take into account opinion of Abkhazian legitimate authority regarding all those issues, which are connected to our country and interests of its citizens”, - is said in the statement.
