15:15 13.06.2012
Day News

Russian Migration Federal Service says that it is going to give to Court case of 9 thousand Georgian citizens, who are staying on the territory of Russia more than allowed time-limit.

“Above 9 thousand Georgian citizens are on the territory of Russia more than 90 days – permitted by law. We will find them and the decision will be made by the Court,” – Konstantin Romodanovsky, the head of Federal Migration Service said.

In addition, according to “Interfax”, Romodanovsky calls absolutely legal the fact of mass deportation of Georgians in 2006. Today the Strasbourg Human Rights Court discusses Georgia’s appeal regarding the mentioned case.

We will recall you that, in 2006, dozens of people with an ethnic sign were exiled by the Russian Federation with a cargo plane. A great number of Human rights were violated during the incident.  Due to wild methods of detention-deportation people died.
