Today, Parliament Speaker, David Bakradze will meet with the member of
delegation of the U.S. National Democratic Institution and its president,
Kenneth Wollack.
“Internet.ge” was informed about it from the Parliament press-office.
According to their information, the meeting of the two parties will be
held on 13:30.
As for delegation, guests arrived in Georgia yesterday and the aim of
the visit is – assessment of the environment in the state before the upcoming
elections planned in 2012.
In the frameworks of the visit, members of the delegation will conduct
meetings – with the government, electoral candidates, political party leaders,
election administration, and representatives of civil society, media and
international organizations.
On June 29, after finishing the work, NDI delegation will present main
conclusions of the evaluation of pre-election environment in a report on a
pres-conference.
