President participates in the Black Sea Economic cooperation summit

Jubilee summit co-chaired by Turkish and Serbian Presidents dedicated to the 20th anniversary of establishment of the Black Sea Economic Organization will be held in Istanbul today.   

Georgian delegation will be headed by the President Mikheil Saakashvili.

Deputy Foreign Minister, Davdi Jalagonia said Georgia is a founder state of this organization.

“The main motive and the goal of creating the organization was promotion of establishment of stability, development, prosperous, peaceful coexistence and successful trade-economic cooperation between the Black Sea Basin countries, creation of a model of successful political and economic cooperation”, - Jalagonia said.
