The Georgian Foreign Minister, Grigol Vashadze, and his Finnish counterpart, Erkki Tuomioja, recently exchanged letters to mark the 20th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Georgia and Finland.

In these letters, the two foreign ministers underlined the importance of Georgian-Finnish political, economic, scientific and cultural bilateral co-operation and focused upon the urgency of the need to develop such relations in the multilateral format.
