Mikheil Saakashvili: the budget will be amended due to the disaster

According to the president of Georgia, special meeting of the parliament will be held in few days, where the budget amendments will be discussed.

As the president said today during the special meeting in Kakheti, the budget should be amended and the money should be added to help people. 

According to the First Person of state, all the villages affected by the disaster will be restored and everything that was damaged will be re-built.

“There should not be a problem of water in Telavi. The damage must be neutralized, communications restored, no one should be left in the street and the big restoration and construction should begin. Everything that was destroyed should be built again and we should do it till the end,” – President said.

Saakashvili said loss of those whose harvest was damaged, should be compensated. 

“No unmade road should be left in the disaster areas and these places should become much comfortable for the people. These place looks like a battle-field and it should be improved”, - Saakashvili said.
