The chairman of the State audit service, Levan Bejashvili has resigned.

As Bejashvili said, Kekheti population needs special care and support today and that is why he resigned.

“I think it is my duty to stand by my Kakheti population in these hard times and to help them to overcome the damage inflicted by the disaster, and that is incompatible with my position. Therefore, I made decision, to leave the concrete high post in Tbilisi and to connect my future work to taking care of my poor people together with my friends”, - Bejashvili said.
