The budget amendments project will be approved today

Parliament will approve the budget amendments planned in connection with the disaster today.

As the Parliament Speaker David Bakradze said during the extraordinary session of the parliament, after the first argent aid, long-term rehabilitation of Kakheti will begin. 

“Amount of damage is huge, it is important to finish all the works, which are currently underway. It is necessary to restore and houses and roofs of buildings, to supply the region with electricity and gas, to hand food aid. The aim of the government and the authorities is to help the population maximally and that is why it is necessary to make amendments in the budget”, - David Bakradze stated.    

As it became known, about 162 million GELs will be spent from the budget on disaster consequences liquidation works and population compensations.
