According to the statement of the head of the State Audit Service, Lasha Tordia, the Audit service will continue the course, which was chosen during Levan Bejashvili’s time.

As Tordaia said, the top principles of the service will be: publicity, objectivity and professionalism.

“The initiatives that were planned in 2008 and where I was involved too, will be continued. The reforms should be based on several principles and these are: publicity, objectivity and professionalism. These principles will be the main moving forces. Also, I have an initiative to carry out consultations with political parties”, - Tordia said.

Yesterday, the parliament approved Lasha Tordia as a head of the State Audit with 83 votes against 2.

Tordia changed Levan Bejashvili, who left the position voluntarily. As Bejashvili said, Kekheti population needs special care and support today and that is why he resigned.
