Leader of the coalition “Georgian dream”, Bidzina Ivanishvili was fined with GEL 20 243 827 for carrying out illegal donations. Ivanishvili’s lawyer Shalva Todumadze made a comment for “internet.ge” regarding the decision of the City Court.    
According to him, the court recognized citizen Ivanishvili guilty. The case concerns charges of the State Audit, according to which leader of “Georgian dream” has used money withdrawn in cash from his own bank accounts for donations to “Georgian dream”.    Todumadze accuses the court of non-objectivity and states that Ivanishvili’s lawyers will appeal the decision made today in the appellate Court. 
“We have 48 hours for appealing the decision of the City Court. According to the decision made today, GEL 20 243 872 should be covered within a week”, - the attorney noted. 
We will recall you that, according to the information of the Monitoring Service of Finance, during 2012, persons with declared political and electoral aims, Bidzina Ivaniashvili and Kakha Kaladze withdraw considerable sums in cash without prescription from their bank accounts. In the mentioned period, Bidzina Ivanishvili took in cash GEL 5,552,135, while Kakha Kaladze – GEL 3,388,992.      
As for Kakha Kaladze, he had passed sentence yesterday. The Majoritarian Candidate of the coalition was fined by Tbilisi City Court with GEL 16 944 960. His property was sequestered too.
