Georgian president Mikheil Saakashvili awarded civil and military figures for professional merits.

Presidential orders of brilliance and Vakhtang Gorgasali Orders have been handed over to 25 military servicemen and 4 civilians for their contribution to the development of Georgian armed forces.

The representatives of the Scientific Technical Centre Delta, which made first Georgian battle cars Lazika and Didgori, has also received awards.

The award ceremony was held in the courtyard of the parliament building, after what president went to the legislative body.
