According to the candidate of the Justice Minister, Tea Tsulukidze, it is possible that the new cabinet of Ministers will include Ministry of National Security too. Reportedly, Lasha Natsvlishvili is considered as a candidate of head of the new Ministry.

“Very good and constructive meeting has been held; the one that nation deserves”, - Gharibashvili mentioned.

As Panjikidze said to reporters, the foreign policy course of the country is integration into European and Euro-Atlantic structures, strategic partnership with the U.S. and friendly relations with neighboring countries.

Russian president Vladimir Putin said that Mikheil Saakashvili, after his defeat in the parliamentary elections of Georgia, will try to maintain power with a help of majoritarians.

“By the way, I don’t know where Gubazi is. I have not spoken with him since the elections”, - said Maia Panjikidze to “internet.ge”.

“If such a thing was really uttered, then at least it causes uncertainty”, - the Armenian MP noted and added that if it was a mistake made by a leader of a political power, it should be fixed.

From the side of the “National movement” the meeting will be attended by David Bakradze, Gigi Ugulava and Pavle Kublashvili and from the side of “Georgian dream” – by Irakli Alasania, Davit Usupashvili and Irakli Gharibashvili. 

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia welcomes the Resolution of the European Parliamentary Assembly, which is connected to the honoring of obligations and commitments by the Russian Federation, including obligations connected to Georgia.

Georgian Prime-Minister Vano Merabishvili has discussed post-election situation together with the current government members and asked the Ministers to continue their work in a usual regime till the formation of the new parliament.

According to the last information of the CEC, with the proportional system “Bidzina Ivanishvili – Georgian dream” has 54,7% and the “United National Movement” – 40,4%.

Today, representatives of the “United National Movement” and “Georgian dream” will hold the first meeting today at 13:00 in the government Chancellery.
