The Traffic is partially restored on the Gulua Square, which was flooded as a result of heavy rain and mudflow. The head of the emergency situations department, Temur Giorgadze informed “Internet.ge” about it.

According to him, the cleaning works at the square is underway now. 

“The rescue and clean-up works on Gulua Square were carried out all night long. The traffic is partially restored for this time. That part of the road, which was blocked, will be completely restored in the afternoon,” – Giorgadze said. 

On May 12, the heavy mudflow killed 5 people in Tbilisi. Dozens of houses were flooded.
