Today Giorgi Tugushi will present the 2011 report to the parliament

The public defender Giorgi Tugushi, is going to bring the 600 page report of 2011 year in to the parliament.

According to the preliminary information, the report prepared by the Ombudsman contains almost every area. In particular, a big part of the report is dedicated to the health care issues in the penal system, rights of internally displaced people, and those living in the occupied regions and also, to the conditions of women and children.

In addition, conditions of persons with disabilities and socially vulnerable ones are discussed in the report.  

We will recall you, that at the first stage, the report of Giorgi Tughushi will be considered by the Human rights Committee of the Parliament; after, it will be discussed on the plenary session.
