Kakheti population will receive compensations from the next week

Distribution of compensations to the disaster-affected population will be started from the next week. The statement about it was made by the Georgian president. According to him, the disaster consequences liquidation works should finish rapidly and the losses of population should be compensate timely. 

The Prime-Minister has already presented the government’s 5-point plan, which is intended for all the victim families: 1. All the affected families should receive food package (flour, sugar, oil); 2. The government has also pledged to restore the damaged roofs; 3.Those, whose harvest was completely destroyed, will receive aid of 1300-1500 Gel; 4.Those, whose harvest was destroyed on 70 % will get 800 – 900 Gel; 5.Those, who has 50% of harvest destroyed will be handed 300-500 Gel compensation.
