Tbilisi City Hall employed about 10 000 students

Within the project of students employment initiated by the Georgian President, Tbilisi City Hall employed 10 000 students in different municipal sector from July 20 to August 20.

Within a month, students will clean the city and take care of city’s improvements. Students will also be involved in all the projects, which Tbilisi City Hall is implementing. 

The Mayor of Tbilisi, met with students in the N109 kindergarten today, spoke about the employment project with them and took part in building and painting the walls of the kindergarten.  

About 1000 students participate in the kindergartens’ building rehabilitation works, which is in progress till the new academic year and is an annual project initiated by the City Hall. In the frameworks of the employment project, together with qualified specialists, students will take care of improving infrastructure of 158 pre-school facilities across the city.

Students’ employment project aims: improvement of students’ skills and professional experience in various fields. Each student will receive 500 Gel for a month. Earned money will give possibility to the students to finance their studies themselves or use the money as they wish.
