Day News

The highest temperature across Georgia was 41 degree in Zestaponi yesterday.

As the Environment National Agency said to “Internet.ge”, the hot weather will be continued till July 29 throughout the country.

Forecasters said the maximal temperature in the capital will be 36 degree and from July 29 rains are expected for three days.

“Cold weather is expected from August 3 again”, - the forecasters say.

Due to the predicted hot weather, the Center for Diseases Control addresses the population with the recommendations.

According to the information of the Center, in excessively hot weather the human body's protective systems may fail to provide adequate cooling and develop heat diseases, which have a negative impact on human health and may lead to lethal results as well.

Especially at risk are: infants, children and elderly people (dehydration develops rapidly), people with diseases of cardiovascular system, endocrine and neurological problems.
