22 Georgians, who became victims of human trafficking in Turkey, were released few hours ago.

As it became known, the men living in the village Alaverdi, Zestaponi region, were promised jobs and 1200 GEL wags by a mediator Lasha Navareli. He took a group of job seekers to Istanbul, seized documents and locked in the basement.

Georgians managed to send the only message to Zestaponi, where they wrote that they were forced to slavery labor and became victims of human trafficking.

Georgian Consulate, together with the police, found place of human trafficking victims late yesterday.

22 Georgians went for a job from Zestaponi to Alaverdi on July 25 with a help of the mediator Lasha Navareli.

Turkish employers were immediately arrested yesterday, as for the mediator, his fate is unknown.
