CEC continues its work in a special regime

After announcement of the election date Central Election Commission of Georgia continues its work in a special regime. 

As it is known, 13 members will be in commission on every polling station, 6 from them chosen from parties and 6 with a profession sign. For October 1, total of 48 thousand people will be working in the election administration throughout Georgian.   

All of them have passes special trainings for better understanding of election procedures.

The commission shell draw up the election schedule in coming days.

Also, the parties participating in elections must submit majoritarian candidates and the party-lists no later than 28 days before the elections.  

According to the “Election Code”, parties independently participating in the elections, electoral blocks and initiative groups of 5 people have right to nominate parliament member candidates for the parliament.
