Minister
of Agriculture, Zaza Gorozia will host a cheese festival. According to the
Ministry, international organizations participating in the festival, the
diplomatic corps, and representatives of legislative and executive governments
will be met by the Minister of Agriculture.
The
festival will be attended by the Parliament Speaker, David Bakradze.
The
local market’s most popular and oldest species of Georgian cheese will be
presented at the event.
Approximately,
40 companies from all regions and small farmers will participate in the
festival. They will made original figures from cheese and exhibits
characteristic for a traditional feast.
In the
frameworks of the event, company “M Group” will present various dishes made
from cheese, which are included in their new cuisine “Georgian treasure”. Along
with Khachapuri of various species, Elardji, Cheese Vareniki and other Georgian
traditional cuisine, invited guests will have possibility to taste Georgian
wine too.
At the
end of the event a concert will be held too.
