Two persons were arrested by the police for physically assaulting head of Bereti village municipality

On September 11 the officers of Kareli Regional Main Division of the Ministry of Internal Affairs detained residents of Dzlevijvari village, Mirza Khabareli and Teimuraz Chagelishvili. 
According to the Internal Affairs Minister information, Chagelishvili and Khabareli verbally and physically assaulted Aleqsi Eliashvili, the head of Breti village municipality in his own office. 
Mirza Khabareli and Teimuraz Chagelishvili were detained under the article 166 envisaged by Administrative Violations Code of Georgia. In accordance with the court’s decision, they were sentenced to 60 days of administrative detention.
