Intensive training is in progress at Russian military base in Abkhazia

Artillerymen of Russian military base are being trained in Abkhazia. They exercise in destroying a target in a mountainous territory. The training is intensively in progress –“Apsnipres” reports.

Press-service of the Southern Military region of Russia reports that the training is carried out with a small artillery firing range, which is equipped with modern moot means and the situation is maximally similar to the real.   

Overall, in the supper period of trainings artillery units will spent 800 hours of training, half of which will be held in night conditions.

In early September, the artillerymen will move from Abkhazia to Krasnodar region, where the final stage of the training – tactical exercises with shooting – will be conducted.
