In case of realization of military scenario, Damascus is ready for a
proper answer. Syrian authorities have also said that they are not going to
withdraw its troops from the cities, if the opposition does not give a written
guarantee, which, in turn, was responded with a refusal of ceasefire by the
opposite side.
”We rule out military intervention, however our army is ready for everything,
and we, all, the army and the people too, we are ready to defend our country
till the last straw,” – Syrian ambassador in Russia – Riad Khadada said.
For concluding peace and fulfilling Kofi Annan’s plan, the sides are requiring
from each-other making the first step. As the Syrian foreign Ministry’s press
office said the special representative of UN, Kofi Annan has not given the
written guarantee on the cease-fire. And the opposite says, that it will join
the Annan’s peace plan on if the Syrian regime withdraw its troops form the
cities and returns to barracks.
